EthosHub gives employees a safe way to report bullying, harassment and misconduct — named or fully anonymous — and gives HR the tools to investigate and resolve each case properly.

  • Anonymous or named reporting
  • Two-way anonymous messaging
  • Secure evidence uploads
  • Case management and audit trail

Anonymous reporting

How anonymity actually works

Most platforms promise anonymity. Here is exactly what ours does — and doesn't — keep.

No IP address, no device fingerprint
The EthosHub application never reads, logs or stores a reporter's IP address, browser details or device information.
No account and no cookies
Anonymous reporters don't sign in, and no session or tracking cookie is created when they submit.
A key only the reporter holds
Each report generates a random one-time access key, shown once. We store only a one-way hash of it — so nobody, including EthosHub, can trace a report back to the person who made it.
Hidden in an instant
If someone walks past, a discreet Hide button — or Esc pressed twice — covers the report with an ordinary weather forecast, even renaming the browser tab. Nothing typed is lost, and nothing is sent anywhere.
Follow-up without identification
Caseworkers can ask questions and the reporter can reply using their key. The caseworker only ever sees “Anonymous”, and leadership dashboards never retrieve reporter identity at all.

The trade-off: because the key is never stored, a reporter who loses it cannot recover it. We think genuine anonymity is worth that.

Built for HR. Designed for Trust.

Everything an HR team needs to receive, investigate and resolve workplace concerns — with the safeguards that make people willing to speak up.

Anonymous Reporting

Employees can report anonymously or sign in to follow their case. Anonymous reporters get a one-time key to check progress and reply.

Two-Way Messaging

Caseworkers and reporters talk within each case — including anonymous reporters, who never have to reveal who they are.

Case Management

Move cases from open to resolved, reassign between caseworkers, and keep internal notes the reporter never sees.

Role-Based Access

Admins, caseworkers, leadership and employees each see only what their role requires.

Disguise Mode

One click, or Esc twice, swaps the report for an ordinary weather page. Do it again and carry on exactly where you left off.

Audit Trail

Every case view and change is recorded in an append-only log, so you can always show who accessed what, and when.

For leadership

See the patterns. Never the people.

Leadership dashboards turn individual reports into insight you can act on — without exposing anyone who came forward.

  • Case volume and trends over time
  • Breakdowns by category, department and location
  • Resolution times and open-versus-closed ratios
  • Repeat-subject patterns, with names abbreviated

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers about how EthosHub works.

What is EthosHub?
EthosHub is a workplace incident reporting platform. Employees can report bullying, harassment, discrimination and other misconduct — anonymously or under their own name — and HR teams can investigate and resolve each case in one place.
Can incidents be reported anonymously?
Yes. Anonymous reporters don't create an account and aren't asked for any personal details. They receive a one-time access key, which they use to check progress and reply to the caseworker's questions.
What happens if an anonymous reporter loses their access key?
It can't be recovered. We store only a one-way hash of the key, never the key itself, so nobody — including EthosHub — can reissue it or link a report back to a person. The reporter can always submit a new report.
What if someone walks past while I'm writing a report?
Use Disguise Mode. Click the Hide button or press Esc twice and the page is instantly replaced with an ordinary weather forecast, including the browser tab title. Press Esc twice again, or click °C, to return — everything you've typed is still there.
What if a caseworker leaves a case open on their screen?
After two minutes without mouse or keyboard activity, EthosHub blurs the whole page so case details can't be read by anyone passing. Moving the mouse brings it straight back. It's a privacy screen rather than a lock, so caseworkers should still lock their computer when they step away.
Who can see incident reports?
Access is role-based. Caseworkers see the cases assigned to them, administrators manage the organisation, and leadership sees aggregated analytics only — reporter identity is never retrieved for those dashboards. Employees see only their own reports.
Where is our data stored?
In the United Kingdom. The database and file storage are hosted in the London (eu-west-2) region, and all traffic is encrypted in transit.
How does EthosHub support UK GDPR?
EthosHub is designed around data minimisation: anonymous reports carry no IP address, device information or account, and every case view and change is recorded in an audit log. As the data controller, your organisation remains responsible for its own compliance, and we're happy to help with your due diligence.
How are cases assigned to caseworkers?
Administrators and caseworkers assign and reassign cases from the case view. Every reassignment is recorded in the audit trail.
What analytics are available?
Leadership and administrators get a dashboard showing case volume over time, breakdowns by category, department and location, resolution times and open-versus-closed ratios.
Can we brand the platform?
Yes. You can add your logo, set your brand colour and write your own welcome message for the reporting portal.
How do we get started?
Book a demo and we'll walk you through the platform using a sample organisation, then help you set up your own.
